In her short 40 years on earth, Stacy (Mrs. D, as her students called her) touched many young lives. She defined what it meant to be selfless in her devotion to her students. She taught them what it meant to be a team, and even more importantly, she taught them what it meant to be the absolute best versions of themselves. Over the years, it was not at all uncommon to hear the following expressed by her students: You define the quote that goes something like this - People don’t remember the things we say but they remember the way we make them feel.
Stacy’s legacy lives on in all the students she touched throughout the Cedar Park community. Stacy K. Danielson Middle School opened its doors in the fall of 2020 and it is here that students are reminded daily, how to live their lives “the Stacy K. way”.
